VX40 Series Installation Manual – Ver 3.0
Thank you for choosing our products. This comprehensive manual pertains to the VX40 series drives, and we kindly request that you read it carefully before using the drive.
This drive is a General Purpose Drive and broadly covers all common industrial applications. It also allows for modification of input and output boards for use in specific applications, such as injection molding machines.
The serial communication of this product is designed for Modbus. If communication with Profibus, CAN, or Ethernet automation systems is required, the VX60 or VX7 series can be used.
This product is designed for asynchronous motors. For a PM-type synchronous motor in an open-loop configuration, the VX60 series is suitable. Additionally, for asynchronous and synchronous motors, as well as asynchronous servomotors with various pulse, sinusoidal, or resolver encoders (closed-loop speed control), the VX7 series can be used.
The VX40 series variable frequency drives are designed for controlling the speed of AC induction asynchronous motors and utilize advanced sensorless vector control through DSP microcontrollers. These drives offer high EMC compatibility, reliability, and flexibility in industrial environments.
The vector control performance of the VX40 series is comparable to that of advanced global drives. Its integrated speed and torque control meets the requirements of various industrial applications. Additionally, stable operation against electrical network faults, high compatibility with electromagnetic noise, and resistance to environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and dust are ensured in accordance with electrical industry standards.
